Christmas Season

November is almost over and that only means Christmas season is near once again. It seemed not too long ago when 2009 start yet now, it's about to pass. Truly, time flies by so fast. So many things happened this year not just to my country the Philippines but all over the world.

Here in the Philippines, Christmas season starts as early as September ("ber months"). Since then, Christmas decorations can bee seen in some places. Today, streets are filled with bright Christmas lights. Despite the crisis and tragedies that the country faced this year, Filipinos will surely find a way to celebrate Christmas with a smile. Unfortunately in our city, firecrackers are strictly prohibited and so I won't be able to enjoy once more playing with firecrackers. It's a Chinese tradition to drive away bad spirits and welcome good things in the coming year. However, in our city, our city mayor made a city ordinance restricting the selling and usage of firecrackers in the entire city because of the dangers it bring. Ow well, we have no choice but to follow the law.

December is also a good time to travel especially to countries where Christmas is extra special. How I wish I could spend Christmas with my friends in Europe, particularly in Spain. Spending a Christmas vacation in Europe is not really that expensive because there are plenty of cheap Spain hotels, cheap Madrid hotels, and cheap hotels in Barcelona. Alicante is also a nice place to go in Europe. There are also cheap Alicante hotels available.

Lastly, one place in europe that I've been longing to see is Costa Del Sol. Costa Del Sol offers plenty of beautiful spots and they also have cheap Costa Del Sol hotels. It's never too late, in time I'll be able to fulfill my dreams of travelling to Europe.

Advance Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year to everyone!!

Nintendo Wii

Nintendo Wii is one of the enjoyable ways to get slim and fit. Now, I wonder how playing NBA live in Wii feels like.

What is Wii then?
Wii is not just a gaming console, it's a reason to get together with your friends and family and play today's hottest games. Wii offers legendary Nintendo franchises like Mario, Zelda and Metroid, as well as all new classics like Wii Sports and Wii Play. Create your own Mii character to star in Wii games. Play friends online over Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection or use the Internet Channel to surf the net from your sofa. You can even download classic Nintendo games using the Wii Shop Channel. Take a look around and see why your TV is not complete without Wii.

I bumped in the 09 release of NBA Live for Wii. Here's some words from EA regarding the game - "Step onto the court and into the fun with a unique basketball experience designed exclusively for the Wii. NBA Live 09 All-Play offers more action, more often, with an over-the-top basketball experience designed with everyone in mind. Improved responsiveness and more control options make this game easier and more fun to play than ever before."

Wish I could shop for one. By the way, Wii is a home video game console released by Nintendo. A distinguishing feature of the console is its wireless controller, the Wii Remote, which can be used as a handheld pointing device and detect movement in three dimensions. Another distinctive feature of the console is WiiConnect24, which enables it to receive messages and updates over the Internet while in standby mode.

Kinda of topic but I'd like to mention that I am currently downloading files for NBA Live 2k9, PC version. Yep Yep

Trashed blog

What have I done to this blog? After having my Adsense account suspended or should I say terminated, I've neglected this blog. I'v lost all the motivation to update-to blog.

This is my first ever blog. I regret that I started out with blogdrive. And the list of regrets goes on. However, I find it weird because I've been thinking if deleting this blog but I just can't do the final click. Something's holding me back. It's good to know that this blog still has some visitors. It has been dormant for over 3 months.

I'll try to regain some love for this blog.

Nice poem

A fire that is carefully stoked and tended will not burn out.
It will blaze so brightly that its warmth lingers in your heart.
It will beckon your tired soul and embrace you in its radiance.
The familiar smell of its smoke can bring a wistful smile,
and the occasional blast of fireworks can take your breath away.
Its sizzle can enthrall you; its flickering flames entrance you.
The glowing embers provide comforting heat,
and the knowledge that a subtle movement or gentle breeze
can rekindle a bonfire.

My love, the spark that ignited the day we met
remains an eternal flame.

Herbalife

Somebody invited me through text to a seminar on Herbalife or Herbal Life. The Herbalife International is one the prominent Herbal Nutrition Network worldwide. The company offers a wide array of products ranging from vitamins, supplements, and products catering various diseases.

Going back to the seminar, it was very inviting. The participants were from different walks of life and age bracket. We were given snacks which is really important in those kind of seminars. The people were very warm and jolly. They kept the crowd alive and participative. They had all the positive things to say about Herbal Life products and in being a sales agent/representative. The facilitators boasted their paychecks in dollars, mounting to at least a hundred thousand. It is a good income generator for students, and other people looking for extra income. But the job takes intense work and courage. One has to be very good in communicating to the public.

I enjoyed the seminar. However, they failed to convince me to participate in the next session and into the program. I don't think the scheme fits me. I don't think I'd be an effective sales agent for herbal products.

Deep

Binoculars or field glasses are two identical or mirror-symmetrical telescopes mounted side-by-side and aligned to point accurately in the same direction, allowing the viewer to use both eyes (binocular vision) when viewing distant objects. Most are sized to be held using both hands, although there are much larger types.

Unlike a monocular telescope, binoculars give users a three-dimensional image: the two views, presented from slightly different viewpoints to each of the viewer's eyes, produce a merged view with depth perception. There is no need to close or obstruct one eye to avoid confusion, as is usual with monocular telescopes.

Real Binoculars are quite expensive, especially those astronomical types and for military usage. It's fun to play around with this gadget.

Anyways, while doing this entry, I remembered the song "Deep" by a band name Binocular. Up to now, a lot of people who know this song still do not know the meaning of the song.hehehe That includes me.

So this is what you mean
And this is how you feel
So this is how you see
And this is how you breathe
Sometimes
I know
Sometimes
I go down deep
Oh

So this is what you mean
And this is how you feel
So this how you see
And this is how you breathe

Sometimes
I know
Sometimes
I go down deep
Oh

Beneath the deep blue sea
Touching every breath
All a slight off hand
For everything you left

Sometimes
I know
Sometimes
I go down deep
Oh

Sometimes
I give myself for you
Sometimes
I know down deep
